If you’re craving some steak and need to get that protein count in for the day, then let your meal soar with the 8-oz Steak, a meal they even serve at breakfast right upon opening. They grill it to pristine perfection and pair it with three eggs, all done however you like them. You can also go for a country-fried steak or biscuits and country gravy. Are you looking for something sweet? Try the short stack of Bear Paw Pancakes, opt for the half-order of French toast, or indulge in a vanilla Belgian waffle. Each option comes with three eggs cooked to order and your choice of bacon or sausage.  

Black Bear Diner

Anyone looking for the best breakfast in St. George, Utah, should stop at the Black Bear Diner. They’re on the south side of Main Street, in the heart of downtown, so you can’t miss them. At the Black Bear Diner, you and everyone’s family can not only dine-in or carry out, but you can also get delivery services (since Ledges Vacation Rentals is right nearby!). They open from Sunday to Thursday from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Friday to Saturday from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. 

This early-bird eatery does not shy away from a challenge, including any special order or substitute you happen to request. You’ve got veteran cooks in the back who can whip up their magic in the form of delicious sweet cream pancakes, well-done eggs, smoked ham steaks, battered French toast, quality link sausages, and much more. If you’re more of an omelet type, try Bruce’s Meat Lover’s Omelette, which will give you plenty of energy for your day. It’s got melted Jack cheese, link sausages, thick-cut smoked bacon, and some smoked ham. It doesn’t get much better!

The Crepery

The Crepery is one of those unique breakfast restaurants in St. George, Utah; you can’t pass up, Be sure to bring an appetite with you! They’re open to you from Monday to Saturday between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Crepery works with some of the most skilled food artisans, whom they call artists. These people can put together some of the most delicious sweet or savory crepes you could ever imagine. 

Their Minimalist is the perfect way to get started if you’re not sure you may like sweetened crepes or have never tried them. It’s just one crepe, but if you want it, you can order more. This basic crepe comes with just butter and sugar or honey on the side (your preference). If your mouth waters and you fall in love with it after a couple of bites, finish it up and order another, perhaps the Nutie Fruity. This one’s a crepe that gives you everything the Minimalist offers but also the option to add some strawberries, a few banana slices, or even both. Try the Pin Up crepe, another top plate on the menu. It comes with chocolate sauce, strawberries, and even some filling, cheesecake-style. Get hungry!
