Tuacahn Amphitheatre
Perhaps the most famous place to experience the arts in St. George is the Tuacahn Amphitheater. This breathtaking venue holds any performing art you could want to experience, from local plays to Broadway musicals and even concerts from the world’s top artists. Shortly, the Amphitheater is planning to host incredible productions like Annie, Beauty and the Beast, and School of Rock and musical performances by Martina McBride, Kansas, Kristin Chenoweth, and others.
The Tuacahn Amphitheater presents a unique atmosphere to enjoy some of the most talented performers of St. George and from across the country. Performances here are great for the entire family, but childcare is offered right on-site if you are traveling with children and would like to see a more mature show!

St. George Art Museum
The St. George Art Museum has been attracting locals and visitors alike for more than 30 years. Here, you’ll find a wide range of modern and historical artwork, exhibiting some of the most impressive pieces from local and regional artists. The museum holds a fascinating permanent collection and rotating exhibits throughout the year, so there is always something new to explore!
Not only can you come to the St. George Art Museum to see incredible artwork from others, but you can also improve your skills with their art classes! Kids and adults alike are encouraged to come and explore their creative side. Even if you don’t consider yourself a natural-born artist, the talented and friendly staff here can help you hone your skills.
The Saint George Art Museum is located at 175 East 200 North in St. George. Their current hours are Wednesday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays and Tuesdays are currently reserved for appointments for at-risk groups and individuals.
The Arrowhead Gallery
If you want a truly diverse look at the St. George art scene, make your way to The Arrowhead Gallery. This nonprofit gallery has a huge collection of work by local artists in various mediums, so there’s sure to be something that piques any interest. In addition to simply viewing the pieces on display, you can even vote for some of your favorites! Each month, The Arrowhead Gallery invites local artists to display their impressions of “Life In and Around St. George, Utah,” and visitors to the gallery are encouraged to vote on their favorites.
Whether you’re interested in viewing photography, oil paints, watercolors, or any other medium, you’re likely to find it on display here at The Arrowhead Gallery. If you see something that you’re genuinely in love with and you want to take home with you, you may even be able to purchase it!

Brigham’s Playhouse
If you’re looking for a chance to experience musical theater in St. George, Utah, Brigham’s Playhouse is the perfect place to do it! Located just 10 minutes outside of the city in nearby Washington, this playhouse brings together the most talented local actors for some entertaining performances the entire family is sure to enjoy. Performances can run the gamut from serious to playful, offering a little something for everyone.
Not only are you likely to see traditional plays here at the playhouse, but you might also be lucky enough to catch a musical! St. George Musical Theater
Speaking of musical theater in St. George, this next company is an excellent resource for some amazing shows as well! St. George Musical Theater puts on a combination of Broadway classics and lesser-known musicals, so no matter when you’re in town, you can rest assured that they’ve got a great performance going on. For the 2021 season, some of the biggest productions on the calendar include South Pacific, High School Musical, The 39 Steps, and White Christmas: The Musical.
If you’re going to be in town for the summer and have an aspiring actor on your hands, St. George Musical Theatre even offers exciting summer camps to help your kids fine-tune their skills. These camps typically consist of auditions and callbacks, followed by a month or so of camps and a few nights of performances. Even if you’re not able to stay for the whole summer and have your child participate, it’s still exciting to come out to the final performance and see some of the most talented young performers in the area!
