About the Huntsman World Senior Games
As someone over 50, finding competitive sports can be tricky. That’s why Daisy and John H. Morgan, Jr. founded the Huntsman World Senior Games. They wanted to create an international event for men and women over the age of 55. They felt that the golden years were better enjoyed when someone was in good health. Since it was created in 1987, the Huntsman games have been open to all men and women who meet the age requirement.

The Sports
When you participate in the Huntsman Senior games, you can take part in one of many events! If you love team sports, you can sign up for basketball, soccer, softball, and volleyball. But there are so many more events than team sports. If you love running and walking, take part in their triathlon or one of their four different walking races. Love tennis? The Senior Games take place from October 3rd through October 15th. Every day there is a different round of events for you to take part in. Some events take place over several days. The archery-target event is set to take place on October 4th-5th. Other events like the Lawn Bowls take place from the 3rd through the 8th.
